Problem

The experience after clicking "Start" on a maintenance flow feels unintuitive. The transition from the flow library into the active maintenance session isn't clear, and users may not understand what's happening or what to do next.

Areas to investigate

  • What does the user see immediately after clicking "Start" on a maintenance flow?
  • Is the target selection step clear enough?
  • Is the step-by-step execution flow easy to follow for maintenance-specific workflows?
  • How does the batch session launch experience feel when multiple targets are involved?
  • Is there clear feedback about progress across targets?

Expected outcome

A more intuitive flow from "Start" → target selection → step execution → completion, with clear visual cues and feedback at each stage.
