Feature Request (from beta tester feedback)

Beta testers want the option to move the task lane / diagnostic panel to the top of the viewport instead of the right side, or switch to a tab-based layout.

Proposed UX options

  • User preference toggle: "Task panel position — Right (default) | Top"
  • Or: Convert Questions / Diagnostic Checks / Suggested Flows into tabs along the top of the main chat area
  • Persist preference per-user in userPreferences store

Context

Beta tester note: "Highlighting of options in text box or move to top. Tab structure or an option to do so."

This may help on smaller screens where the side panel eats into the chat width.
